5. Construction license or declaration of responsibility. The two usual procedures that coexist to deal with this type of project. The request must be fulfilled and the necessary documents attached, in which the technical project must be added.

6. Execution of the work. It is necessary for the construction company to have the REA number (number that states that you are registered in the registry of authorized companies). It is a process that needs a lot of supervision and control to condition the space that is going to be constituted as a home when the reform begins.

7. First occupation. Once the work is done, the application for first occupation is requested. A verification visit by a technician from the town hall is necessary. The technician is in charge of checking if the house complies with the regulations and if it obtains and complies with the residential use.
